I have always loved Dick Van Dyke. Watching him as Burt in Mary Poppins was mesmerizing. Especially the penguin dance. I watched the black & white Dick Van Dyke show and several of his movies. I believe his entire face and body was made of rubber. Controlled rubber that could turn into a million different characters and moods.Except anger–I don’t think I ever saw Dick Van Dyke do anger.
If you saw any interviews of him, his infectious smile was always contagious to the interviewer.
