This is something I have run into ever since downloading was a thing (early 1980s). It is so bad that I changed the setting in every browser I use to prompt me for filename/location every time I download a file.
I regularly download bank statements, sales reports, data backup ZIP files, and others. There aren’t a lot of things that need to be in the name. A noun or three. A date or date range. Something so that when I download something very similar next month the files all sit nicely in a folder with clarity on what’s in them.
