Funeral

One of Joyce’s great-aunts past earlier this year. We had a Memorial for her in June. Lots of extended family was up at Itasca State Park. The visitation the night before the Memorial was very nice. Lots of stories, laughter, and tears. It was good for those grieving and for those a little further away.

A question that I have been pondering for several years relates to Memorials and Funerals.

Why don’t we write the funeral stuff before people die and read it to them when they are alive and can appreciate it? It is rare that people don’t say nice things, so why not say it to their face while they are alive?

I realize that if I think this is a good idea, I should do it myself and so far, I haven’t. But it is something to thing about. And do something about.

This seems like an appropriate name for a funeral home.
