With no notice, construction crews came by our neighborhood installing fiber. Yes, I realize that if we paid more attention to city government, we probably would have seen some sort of notice.
Haven’t heard anything from any company announcing service so we will have to see who it is. I have been using comcast/Xfinity for over 20 years and I wouldn’t mind having some competition. I know 5G is competition, but it is different than fiber. With fiber, we start out at the bottom of the capability. With Xfinity or 5G, we would start out at the upper end of the capability.
Hopefully they have figured out customer service.
